We’re Phil and Emily, and we met in 2015. Phil grew up in southern Indiana and always loved returning home to visit family and friends. After getting married and starting our own family, we knew we wanted the opportunity to spend longer stretches of time in Indiana, so we began searching for a place of our own.

When we found Hollow Creek Cabin, it felt like the perfect retreat — a peaceful escape from our busy everyday lives and a special place to reconnect with loved ones. After making a number of thoughtful improvements, we opened the Cabin as a vacation rental in 2021, excited to share it with others seeking rest and relaxation.

In 2025, a nearby property that had been operating as a vacation rental became available. Having truly enjoyed hosting at the Cabin, we jumped at the opportunity and purchased Potter Cottage. After completing several updates, we’re thrilled to welcome guests to our second vacation rental.

We love the joy and memories our guests create during their stays, and working on home improvement projects together has always been something we genuinely enjoy. Sharing these homes with others has been the perfect combination of family, creativity, and hospitality for us.

At PRB Resources, we look after two homes in Southern Indiana, and we look after the people who stay in them.
